Sierra Park Open Phase II. On August 28th we celebrated the completion of the new road (Pony Court) and infrastructure in Phase II. Doug Biddle, Cathy Williams and Marie Anderson from Plumas Bank were on hand for a Feather Publishing photo shoot. Plumas Bank has backed our project from the beginning and we appreciate their support. Also attending was Brent Dingel from Wilburn Construction. Wilburn Construction assisted Sierra Park with the infrastructure construction.
Sixteen lots are now available on Phase II for home building. It only takes Sierra Park 14 weeks to build you and your family and energy efficient home. We invite you to drive through Phase II and admire the views from the lots. Numbered lot signs have been placed on each building site for easier lot viewing.
Discounts Available on Remaining Phase I Homes. There are six lots available in Phase I. Building permit fees were paid for in 2006 so we are able to discount homes in this phase. Please phone for further details on the discount.
Appraised Above Retail Price. Our homes have been appraised above their retail price giving you instant equity at the time of purchase. This is a wonderful asset to have when choosing your home. Sierra Park also offers an insurance backed 10 year warranty on all six of our home designs.
Sierra Park Attends the Energy Expo. On September 12th we attended the first Energy Expo in Portola, California hosted by Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative. We were invited to have a booth to inform their PSREC member-owners about our Energy Star homes and their features. There were about 25 other exhibitors from around northern California displaying their energy efficient appliances, solar panels, fireplaces, building and much more.
Approximately 1250 people attended the Expo and we met many great folks and their families from Quincy to Susanville. We hope that PSREC hosts this energy expo again next year as there is a need to provide Plumas and Sierra county residents with more cost effective and easy ways to make their homes more energy efficient and green.
